Veterinary Technician
Reading Animal Clinic has been providing quality medicine to our patients and clients since 1942. We are a general practice located in Reading, MA. We offer a wide variety of services such as surgery preventative care, emergency visits, ultrasound, radiology, laboratory testing, dental procedures, and digital dental imaging. We are a 8 doctor practice looking to grow our Technical Team. We have an opening for a full time Veterinary Technician to come join our family.
Our ideal candidate would:
- Have at least 2 years of experience working as a Veterinary Technician
- Have at least 2 years of Surgical and Dental experience
- Be confident in anesthesia monitoring, catheter placement, intubation, scaling, polishing, blood draws, dental x-rays, blood pressure monitoring, administering medications (IV, IM), sterile techniques, and post-surgical recovery procedures.
- Be a self-starter
- Have a positive attitude
- Be a team player
- Be able to multitask
- Be motivated to learn
- Have excellent communication skills
